There’s a question that vexed me today. It threw me into a tailspin of anger so deep. My mind was blown beyond any sort of recognizable form. Yes, it was that bad (read: no it wasn’t). So why, don’t burger joints deliver?
Is it just because I don’t live in the thriving metropolis of NYC that I can’t get a delivery boy/girl to bike over a delicious bacon cheeseburger done well with all the fixings (sans onions)? Mind you, my cravings for this particular American foodstuffs is quite rare, so the need to have constant drop off is unnecessary. I’ll also add that I don’t mind walking to a cute little restaurant two blocks away from my apartment to collect the goodies. But the thought came to me, why don’t they deliver? Are they doing me any good? Are they attempting to save me from clogging my poor sweet arteries? Or, have burger joints simply not tapped into a potential source of revenue especially in big college towns?
Ain’t nothin’ but a mooo(la) thing baby.
